what we expect

Happy Tuesday! Had a blast this weekend with my sister at her Bachelorette Party! We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego and it was truly my first time exploring the nightlife here. Even though I've been in this city since April, I hadn't gotten a chance to explore until just a few days ago. My sister's friends organized a club crawl in Gaslamp and we had so much fun celebrating and dancing! Cheers to an amazing party and weekend!

Party aside, I want to share with you my second set from the wonderful duo Allen and John. I am a huge fan of their work and I love how colorful yet artistic the shots turn out. We stumbled around in the Arts District in LA and found spots outside of the streets with murals. 

For this look I am wearing the super trendy brand Missguided -- I'm a Nordstrom girl so I was definitely ecstatic when I discovered that they carry the brand! Unfortunately it seems like this particular romper is sold out but there are similar items that I also highly recommend checking out: Missguided Rompers!

Speaking of the quality of the romper, I was a bit surprised how the fabric was-- very scratchy and irritating to the skin and not at all stretchy for the perfect fit. I absolutely love this brand and the young/hip style but it is hard to compromise on the actual poor quality of the romper! :-( For example, I also tried on this piece: Missguided Plunging Lace Romper and indeed it was also very uncomfortable to wear.

However, the white blazer is a must-have in your closet. Not only it fits your frame perfectly, the material in this product is so soft and comfortable. There are multiple colors Mural carry and I would definitely attempt the pink one as well! (Mural Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer) Speaking of its price of $74, I think it's pretty fair-- given the style and fit, I am surprised that this blazer falls under $100.
