Heading to the clouds

Happy September! Can't believe this year has flown by so fast. I still remembered my first day in San Diego back in early April. Waking up today I discovered a new appreciation for this city and just how amazing and fortunate I am to be here. Cherishing my everyday in SoCal!

Every time I meet with Sharon, I have an amazing time and enjoy shooting so much around the city. This time we met in the heart of Beverly Hills and snapped in front of crisp and clean building structures. Although that day was a very busy and crowded Saturday, we were still able to captured great angles and excellent lighting. I realized that throughout the year and half of doing photoshoots, I became immune to being embarrassed or shy in front of a crowd :-) Being a blogger really has taught me so much on learning more about myself and being more confident.

Now let's talk about this look-- I am wearing everything Topshop and feeling amazing in their black and white collection! Digging into the monochromatic style, I love making the look pop by just the texture of the clothing. Mixing and matching this almost baggy bomber jacket with the tight knee-slit jeans, I felt that this look was so trendy and fitting for the Los Angeles scene! 

If you know me, I am very into tropical house music and one of my favorite DJs, Kygo inspires me immensely. I love men's fashion and find it fascinating how relaxed yet classy it can be. Similar to Kygo's look, I wanted to showcase an outfit that would present the same level of laid-back yet chic style.

It is safe to say that Topshop makes their clothing very comfortable and stylish to wear. However, as fabulous as the knee-slit jeans are, I did not find them form-fitting and instead, almost too tight to wear. The knee-slit was barely visible and did not exactly meet at my knees. I was fairly disappointed in the fit but otherwise Topshop did a great job with the look and feel of the jeans.
