Here's to the first day of the lunar new year! Today's post features my favorite MinkPink deer faux fur and some lace up action.

We shot at the Griffith Observatory in LA and I almost missed the sunset while getting stuck in traffic up there! The view over LA was extremely beautiful and it was worth making the climb. It was crowded but we were lucky to find small corners where we could capture shots with the pretty city.

I very much adore my deer faux fur from MinkPink and I paired it with some neutral colors that would make the jacket stand out. This lace up top from Urban was probably the best fitting lace up I found among others that I browsed in the process. I loved the tone of light grey and matched that color with my favorite white mini from TopShop. I finished the look with some fringe booties and made it more retro instead of going with stiletto heels. I like dressing up but at the same time I also like toning it down a bit. In my future posts, you will see more of my casual x athletic looks!
