My name is Cecilia (friends and family call me Cece). I am a Cantonese girl born in Hong Kong and raised on the East Coast. I have a loving grandfather, two beautiful sisters, and a chubby German Shepherd named Nikki.

I currently reside in Los Angeles. I moved from city to city for three years and I finally found where I belong.

Why I started my blog:
When I was a senior in college, I stumbled upon Lookbook.nu and was really admired by fashion bloggers and their photography/design skills. I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to start my own blog because I have done some fun modeling for close friends. I realized I was wrong because fashion blogging requires a lot of work, time, creativity and dedication. It's worth it for me even when I was a busy undergrad and my full time job. I decided to invest in a DSLR camera (Nikon D5100) and started taking photography lessons and web design courses on my own. It hasn't been easy. I'm humble when it comes to my blog. I'm always looking for ways to improve and get inspiration from fabulous bloggers such as Song of Style, Rumi Neely, Tlnique and many more to welcome ideas for my blog. It also means a lot to me to inspire others with my creativity and thoughtful recommendations to help them look and feel their best.

The most important part about this journey is finding myself and understand who I am:
The more I blog, the more I realized how much it empowers my soul. Discovering my personal style and letting go of any self doubt is the best feeling in the world. I hope to convey that to my followers to locate their truest self through their passion as well.

Goal:
I hope to take my blog to a higher level and reach out to as many people as possible. That would make me very happy to know that what was once a style diary could potentially turn into something inspiring and beneficial to other fashionistas!
